Rescuing horses from slaughter
Each year, tens of thousands of horses are shipped across borders for slaughter. We support organizations working on the ground to intercept these horses, provide emergency care, and place them into safe, permanent homes.
Saving mares in foal (and/or with foals)
When pregnant mares or mares with young foals end up without a home, their futures are even more precarious. Separations happen quickly, and babies are often orphaned in the process. We fund groups that specialize in rescuing and keeping mares and foals together — ensuring that both have the chance to thrive in peace and safety.
Preserving endangered breeds
Once iconic workhorses, breeds like the Clydesdale are now critically endangered — with fewer than 5,000 individuals left worldwide. We support efforts to preserve these bloodlines through ethical breeding, education, and advocacy, so future generations can know the strength, kindness, and majesty of these majestic breeds.
Expanding Access to Equestrian Sports
Lesson kids know the struggle well. Owning a horse can often feel like the only way to compete — but cost is still a huge barrier for many talented young riders. As former lesson kids ourselves, we help fund scholarships, travel stipends, and team participation fees for kids and teens in programs like the Interscholastic Equestrian Association (IEA) and others, so financial background never has to decide who gets to experience the joys and benefits of competition horsemanship.
